| Manchester Stop Smoking Service is a free NHS service, dedicated to providing people who live or work in Manchester with non-judgmental advice and one to one support to help them stop smoking. There are free stop smoking clinics in a variety of venues around the city. Information and support is also available for anyone thinking about stopping smoking.
The sessions provide opportunity to explore:
- Your own smoking behaviour.
- Treatments that can help, including nicotine replacement therapies, Zyban and Champix.
- Any previous times you have tried to stop what was helpful and what may be useful to try again or do more of.

You will also be able to get personalised carbon monoxide readings and watch them come down as you stop smoking.
We also have information on other health care workers that run stop smoking sessions in your local area including workplaces, GP clinics, Sure Starts, pharmacies and markets.
